UnitedHealth is facing a class-action lawsuit for allegedly using an AI tool to deny post acute services under Medicare Advantage...overriding clinical recommendations and cutting off therapy for patients who still need it!

The lawsuit claims that:

• The AI tool (nH Predict) was used to prematurely end rehab coverage

• Patients were discharged AGAINST CARE TEAM ADVICE

• The model had a 90% error rate
